Finishing 3D printed parts is all well and good, but the best cure is prevention. So we’ll cover getting your prints looking as nice as possible straight from the bed, and then how to smooth 3D prints with post processing. 

Nearly any printer can improve a smooth to some degree, although naturally you’ll get better prints from a £2000 printer than a £200 printer. The better finish 3D printed parts you get from your printer, the less work you’ll have on how to clean up 3D prints afterwards.
